Christmas dinner for both dog and human

  • 1 medium sweet potato, peeled and diced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 cup/90g green beans, trimmed and chopped

  • 1/2 cup/75g carrots, peeled and diced

  • 1/4 cup/60g low-sodium chicken broth (for dogs)

  • Salt and pepper (optional, omit for dog portion)

Instructions:


For Humans:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add diced sweet potatoes to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften.

  3. Add carrots and green beans to the skillet. Cook for another 5-7 minutes or until all vegetables are tender.

  4. Add cooked turkey to the skillet and mix everything together. Cook until the turkey is heated through.

  5. Season with salt and pepper if desired.

  6. Remove from heat and serve as a side dish for your Christmas dinner.

For Dogs:

  1. In a separate small pan, add the diced sweet potato and chicken broth. Simmer over medium-low heat for about 10-15 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are tender.

  2. Add the green beans and carrots to the pan and continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes until all vegetables are soft.

  3. Add the cooked turkey and mix everything together. Cook until the turkey is heated through.

  4. Allow the mixture to cool before serving a suitable portion to your dog.

Note: Ensure that the ingredients are safe for your dog and that there are no seasonings or ingredients harmful to them. Adjust portion sizes according to your dog's size and dietary needs.
